Furnace

FREEDOM 80 Single-Stage Features:

1. Induced draft Venting - quietly draws hot gases through the heat exchanger, maximizing the heat transfer.

2. Multi-port in-shot burners - perfectly shape the flame cone for the maximum heat while using less fuel.

3.
Adaptive silicone nitride hot surface igniter - starts burners electrically for safety. There's no pilot light constantly burning fuel.

4. Aluminized-steel heat exchanger - is crimped, not welded, to prevent cracks from heat stress. Backed by our 20-year non-prorated, limited warranty.

5. Heavy-steel insulated cabinet - holds more heat to better warm your home, assures greater durability, and quieter operation.

6. Self-diagnostic controls- are the solid -state brain that manage every function with digital accuracy

7. Dual-door latches - allows easy access to the filter for cleaning and changing

8. Sound insulated blower compartment - assures the quietest possible operation.

9. Cleanable filter - buying replacements are not necessary

10. Spring-loaded filter rack - automatically adjust for standard off the shelf filters.

11. Automotive grade gasket and insulated blower door - reduces operating sound and air infiltration.

Most convention furnaces heat your home with a single "full blast" speed. Not our Freedom 80 Two-Stage and Freedom 80 Comfort-R furnaces. Two-stage heating virtually eliminates the discomfort of temperature swings caused by short-cycling, which is a situation common to single-stage furnaces.

Even, Two-Stage Comfort

With two stages, the unit operates on the first stage more than 80 percent of the time, delivering more even, continuous heating. It switches to the high-heat stage only when absolutely necessary. And while the furnace may actually run longer, it ultimately uses less energy on the lower stage operation than single-stage furnaces.

1. A quick turn of the door latches and the furnace door opens.

2. The cleanable filter easily slides out so it can be rinsed or vacuumed.

3. A pleated replacement filter can also be used. The filter rack automatically adjusts for standard size, off-the shelf filters.
